 Pacisoft – Error: “…pending system changes that require a reboot” khi cài đặt hoặc cập nhật Symantec EndPoint Protection

Các bước thực hiện:

  1. Mở Windows Registry (gõ exe tại RUN).
  2. Tìm và xóa PendingFileRenameOperations trong:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\Session Manager
  3. Tìm và xóa  RebootRequired trong:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\
  4. Tìm và xóa PendingFileRenameOperations trong:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\BackupRestore\KeysNotToRestore

Chú ý:

  1. Backup lại các file cần thiết trước khi xóa.
  2. Reegistry sau khi cài đặt sẽ được lưu trữ tại:
    1. 32 bit operating systems:
      • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec_Installer
    2. 64 bit operating systems:
      • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Symantec_Installer
